Keystone Flight -- Gettysburg 2009

AAR: Super day of flying to Gettysburg!

-Great flight to Gettysburg today; perfect flying weather!

-As usual, John Shreve has 62PA looking like a putting green; turf is magnificent!

-Heard Cal on the radio at 0800 this AM! Hi Cal!

-Saw re-enactors from "both sides" and had a good time talking to them
- boy, they take it seriously!

-Attended a "Civil War" church service; interesting!

-Spent time walking about the town; in many ways, unchanged from 1863!

-Had to ask President Abe for directions on our sectionals; see photos!

-Great time with Ed, John, and perhaps two future members of the club (met 2 student pilots flying C-150's at Gettysburg Airport we helped).

-Ate pizza at Gettysburg; OK, now we are "mission complete."

-Gettysburg is a great flying destination!
